Aafram Y. Sellers was born in Jackson, MS and spent his childhood living in Jackson, MS, Buffalo Grove, IL and Mequon, WI.  He attended Hampton University where he graduated with honors and departmental honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2001. 

After completing law school, he started his legal career working for several large civil defense firms, where he represented insurance companies, corporations and doctors in insurance defense, medical malpractice, products liability and general litigation cases. 

In 2004, Mr. Sellers started Sellers & Associates, PLLC and he quickly became known for getting great results in complex criminal cases.  Over the 15 years, his practice has focused primarily on criminal defense, personal injury and general litigation cases.  Since being in private practice Mr. Sellers has handled and tried hundreds of criminal cases at both the federal and state court levels including not guilty verdicts in several high-profile murder cases. Attorney Sellers criminal practice also includes white collar defense representation in EPA, Medicaid/Medicare fraud, insurance fraud and money laundering investigations. 

Additionally, Attorney Sellers has represented healthcare professionals charged with crimes involving abuse of patients and misuse of controlled substances. Attorney Sellers criminal practice also includes appellate work in both state and federal courts even arguing cases before the 5th Circuit of Appeals of the United States.

Attorney Sellers has handled hundreds of personal injury cases including 18-wheeler and motor vehicles, premises liability and defective products resulting in millions of dollars collected for clients.  Additionally, because of his experience and trial advocacy skills Attorney Sellers has been associated by other lawyers and firms to assist them in litigating and trying cases in both civil and criminal matters.  

Mr. Sellers is a member of the Mississippi Bar; Hinds County Bar; Magnolia Bar and the American Bar Associations. 

Mr. Sellers is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Mississippi, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
